Challenge
A perfect piece of hardware requires the company of a top-notch management app that allows users to easily manage the network and track its usage in a friendly, mobile-first environment. Sales-wise, it should be made available in a polished web store with an adaptive checkout process that supports various business profiles.
Solution
Povio helped Plume build the WiFi management app, which is the primary touchpoint of the Plume’s Adaptive WiFi™ system. Users find it very easy to set-up and check the real-time layout of the spaces in their home, along with all devices and applications that are running on the network.
We also developed an advanced e-commerce solution for Plume using the Zuora platform, which processes countless transactions per day and serves as a key entry point for new and existing customers.

Management app building
The Plume app is built using Swift and relies on Objective C as its main library. To manage a huge base that is continuously updated, we have implemented Fabric to prevent any errors arising from that area.

The Store
Custom checkout, heavy front-end designs, numerous daily transactions that require instant fulfillment, returns, parcel shipment management, and the need for several other API connections to third-party service providers made us decide to build the Plume store using the Zuora technology.
